Thought I would necro this thread and say that I found Daydream Nation for $2.99 today and am pretty excited to give it a good listen. That is all.

Sonic Youth is one of those bands that sounds HOLY FUCK AWESOME in their Wikipedia article but ends up being not that great to listen to. I do enjoy almost all of Goo and some of their other stuff but their corpus as a whole doesn't do much for me. I do respect what they've done and enjoy the reviews Thurston writes/wrote for Arthur.
