Notice to all PSN users, everyone who is registered on PSN has had their account info accessed by an unauthorized party. This is apparently the reason why PSN has been shut down all week. Whenever PSN is back up , change your password and pray that your credit card info is safe

Sony is going to get hit HARD for this... seriously.

Fantastic, as if getting my ass handed to me on MVC wasnt enough, now my info got jacked. Why do I bother PSN? I think everybody should be upgraded to PSN plus for all this bullshit, if most people don't just ditch it altogether. I BET IT WAS MICROSOFT DUN DUN DUNNNNN!!!!

I have PS plus , so what do I get, lol?

But yeah , this whole situation is beyond fucked

I don't think it had anything to do with GeoHot but I still want to dropkick him in his ugly fucking face, what a toolbag

No, GeoHot was not the hacker. I mean, probably not. But the way Sony handled his issue and specially Lik Sang made everyone furious at the company. If you bully people that much you should expect a payback.

Yeah, XBox Live totally > PSN, aside from the whole lack of free DLC and inability to ever network with PC users.

Their reaction to that whole situation is totally understandable now that we see what happens when people start messing with the systems. That's not to justify their actions, as it was a stupid ass mistake of theirs to not have any kind of login system for their developer network, but it makes sense why they fought like hell to persecute those guys.
