Any advice for a quality sound card that rivals the fireface? My brother has the fireface at his house but I would like to get something at my place finally that is up there with the fireface in terms of conversion and reliable drivers.
I have a N72 SCA so I would bypass the preamp so no real need for quality pre's really. I would even possibly like to go the m audio route and use pro tools m powered and cubase.
Oh and I am using a Yamaha G046 but its not cutting it for me. Midi keeps dropping and the conversion I'm not too happy with.
So most important ....need good midi funtionality, very good conversion, very very low latency (like the fireface) and great drivers.
Thoughts right now would even be the delta 1010, profire 2626 (price seems good for what you get...dont need all that but could use the pres with the fireface if and when we do drums)??
