Sound Effects

I'm looking for some standard sound effects (thunder/rain, slamming doors, etc.)...anyone have a recommendation? I've bought sound effects CDs before, and it's such a crapshoot. A lot of them sound like some guy went out with a dictaphone tape recorder and tried to record something; just terrible.

how soon do you need it? cuase i have like 3 sound effects libraries on my school server, but i don't go back until tuesday. i can grab what you need, although if i were you i would record/sound design all your sounds yourself, it will sound way better.

Tell us what you need. I use to do soundtrack/fx for 3D animations so, as all the sounds are "fake", maybe I have the sample that you need.
