sound replacing cymbals??

How?? I might be recording with some cracked cymbals and i might wanna replace em just in case

Re-programming in the piano roll is the only way I think.

It's pretty much impossible. There's no real transient. If they don't sound too bad just leave it, if they sound fuckin awful you might be better off programming the drums in the first place.

Tape a piezo to the cymbal if you definitely want to replace the cymbal, and use it to trigger an external cymbal... It'd probably be a good idea to mute the cymbal as much as possible to not get it to bleed to much into the overheads. But dude, just borrow some good cymbals
