sound tests of SVS TD-3 and Skeleton - the new all-tube guitar distortion

Greetings everyone!
There's a new tube gear (stompboxes, preamps, etc) manufacturer in my town. I've tried several of his products, including the most recent two channel preamp Skeleton and the one channel distortion TD-3 (the Skeleton's lead channel):

And I found it just great. It would be interesting to know your opinion about the device.

Me and a friend of mine are recording three tracks using SVS Skeleton into 5150's poweramp - Dream Theater - Lie, Glass Prison and Nevermore's Born. Here's a small unmixed clip - only 90 HZ hipass filter on guitars:

Now, the reason why i posted this here I'm really interested in your opinion about the sound, looks, everything. It would be useful for the manufacturer, who's very attentive to all the opinions and improves his devices all the time.

I think the sound clips sound pretty good. I don't really care too much for the tone in the vid, but it's a video, so it's tough to say for sure.

The looks are cool, but I don't think I'd like a pedal with 2 tubes sticking that high up with those protection rings...Just kinda looks goofy, IMO.

All of that aside, if I owned a 5150 (as the clips suggest you do) I wouldn't ever see myself choosing a pedal's preamp tone over the 5150's own preamp...Might be useful for additional texture or blending, I suppose.

Yeah, definitely, but it's also nice for rehearsal purposes. Or for guys who can't afford the whole amp. I'll get myself a Skeleton though, I like adding it to some other tones i can get from 5150 and mark IV.
