Soundfonts

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how do I use soundfonts that I downloaded in Fruity Loops, for example I wanted to try the ns_kit, but when I put the .sf2 file in my soundfonts folder in FL, and then open it through the browser, it only opens it into one channel, and it doesn't even make any sound. Should I not have downloaded the Soundfont file, but download the WAVs?? Any help is appreciated.

It could be that most of us are more n00bzor than you when it comes to soundfonts. =P

I believe you need both the soundfont file and the .wavs. The soundfont file basically tells the computer what .wav file to play when a certain note (midi) is played.
