I booked mine also. Disappointing announcement though. Hopefully Megadeth are on the way to up the quality in the third announcement!

Yeah still not awesome. Even Slayer already played there a year or two ago.

Slayer are just about the most boring band I've ever seen live.

I saw them in 98 and enjoyed it, and they have gotten progressively worse every time I've seen them since. On their last tour with Megadeth, they put on one of the worst performances I've ever seen. Not interested.

I've skipped Slayer the last two times I've had a chance to see them (their tour with Megadeth and Soundwave 2011) but I might see them this time just so I can say I've seen them. Of course, if they clash with someone good then I won't bother.

I'll also skip Megadeth if they are named in the third announcement because Dave is nuts and I'm boycotting him. And also because I've seen them twice and they don't really interest me anymore.

Dave is nuts, but they still blow my hair back live. I saw them at Download and they were good...I saw their London show in Camden a few days later and it was REALLY good. One thing I like about modern Megadeth is that they can and do play a set with only one track from the 80s, and still put on an awesome show with a strong setlist. How many old school thrash bands out there can do that?

I was almost going to see them at the Ballroom but decided to go to Cardiff and see Anthrax on the same night. Best gig I've ever been to.

Anthrax on their first reunion tour in 2005 was one of my best gigs ever, and they're on fire lately since Worship Music.

missed out on tickets...sydney sold out.couldn't even get onto soundwave website during the week to register for presale plus didn't really have enough money anyway. hope Anthrax announce side show.
