Same as the last poll but this time with the song 'Psalms' off 'Saviour'

Get cracking

Well, i have to admit it... I remember when the first time I heard this song it immediatly reminded me off portishead. Then again, as stated in the other poll, if you listen to portishead you will come to the conclusion that their sound really different...

But there prolly are a few similarities that will remind people of that band...

Psalms just sounds better than almost any song off Portishead.I dont like jazzy stuff so much, indeed.

The elements that can remind me of that band in antimatter is the use of drum machine and the vocals that somehow resemble to the style of the bird in Portishead.Antimatter though, have dead more atmospheric guitars and lyrics that i can relate to,that's why they're among my fave bands, whereas Poortishead are not

The answer is YES BUT I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT
Strange, I had never noticed for Angelic on the other hand. There are some bits in ' Reality Clash ' that seem to have a Portishead chords progression and rhytmic structure. Maybe it's just me ...

besides obvious flashbacks, some parts of vocal lines are quite meddle-ish...
