Speakers suitable for close micing?

Obviously this discussion has been had before, but I can't seem to find a centralized thread about it.

I was in the position of buying a new cab lately, and I was wondering if I should get something with speakers with a fairly different sound from my Recto OS or just go with what I know, in the end I just got another v30 cab (roadster 212). Anyways, for future reference, what other speakers have you guys had success with close micing? I'm presuming Greenbacks and G12T-75s for more specific applications are the second most common speakers?

I love the Celestion Alnico Blues for cleans and the G12-65's as well.

Eminence Legends I like for leads especially with Vintage Marshalls.
