I can't even watch him. The riff is like OK but nothing special, you could see beginner metal bands coming up with better stuff. This guy is fucked up in the brain, and always has been.

So I guess according to him he wrote all of the music. Just how damaged is he?! Also why the hell he would end a tweet about SOWN with "tick tock" which is from POT is beyond me.

I haven't heard anything more about it, it probably already fizzled out like his other projects.

Poor dude has mental problems. He seems to be reliving the past whishing he was part of the music scene. I loved his leads back in the day. Kinda sad to see him repeating the same shit for 15 years.

I'm going to say this - I think Dan Spitz is a complete fuckwit.

I absolutely used to love him back in the day - he was my fave band member growing up, and I still think the guy is an awesome lead player, but the guy has to be the most arrogant and delusional has-been to walk the planet. He carries on like he's a complete metal legend despite doing next to nothing of note in the scene for 20 years, and his recent videos posted showing the "first time IN HISTORY I show you how to play this and that Anthrax riff/lead" are just the biggest self-indulgent wank embarrassment online.

The guy is clearly one sheep short in the paddock. He seems to forget he's the one who pretty much walked away from Anthrax 2 decades ago, and now he looks like a desperate God bothering infant dog scratching at the door trying to get back into the scene now with his new band and posting photos with bands like Testament and Sepultura online everywhere. Having just looked at http://danspitz.com/, I'm not sure there's many more arrogant people around than "The worlds only Master Watchmaker of Complications Specialist & Multiple Grammy nominated musician walking our planet."

Will be interesting to see if this new band lasts 5 and a half minutes longer than his last couple of world-stopping turds like Red Lamb or his slide guitar extravaganza. Oh, and whatever happened to Voices of Extreme, the other band he supposedly joined recently?

And I'll stand by all of the above right now in light of this development. Especially the last line, hahaha.

I don't know how true it is but I read on Reddit's Anthrax sub that he was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior of some sort. I forget the specifics because I try not to hold onto thoughts of the awful in this world. This new project wont last. I wish like most he could've stayed in Anthrax. I loved hearing him play but these days I just keep hoping JonnyD is practicing. When he's on he's on but I cringe when things have to be changed.
