actually...i think triple posting in a row of "LOLs" and personal attacks at me specifically is indeed a lot more pathetic than what i do or dont do for a living. i posted 3 times the entire day yesterday, i dont sit there "all day" arguing with metal wrath. he should be so lucky. regardless, im sure if i insulted you for being a garbage truck driver, you no doubt would have corrected me...stop crying about it.

I purchased "Octane" on a whim last year and was knocked over by it. To my ears, it conjured some of the same 'atmosphere' that PTree's recent discs do - without sounding like them musically. Octane is a great record, IMO.

So I decided to dig deeper and I purchased both Snow and V at the same time. And, to this day, I still have a hard to time getting into either. It's not that the music's bad, but they just...lack something compared to Octane.

However, the tune "June" from one of their earlier albums is stunning! So I'm not sure what to say about Beard, overall. Do I love them? Just 'like them'? Or do I really not give a sh*t?

I think I have to revisit Snow and V this week to form a deciding opinion.

The Beard are excellent. Truly great musicians, imo. Tons of feeling and great melodies. You'd have to be dumb to think they suck, imo.

For the record, I had drank around 12 beers (already a lot for me), and taken two zanex, or xanex (which is stupid, I fucking hate pill poppers, that shows you how drunk I probably was), however the fuck you spell it, the night I wrote all that. I probably meant it, but not in such an intense and angry way, lawl. You know I only half hate you. ^_^

Since this post last week, I HAVE delved back in to both V and Snow. And, I must say, these are great records - especially V.
With that said, I just ordered one of their earlier records, as well as one of Morse's solo discs!!
