Can somebody verify this for me, I reported to support but they say it sounds OK to them.

Open the Sabian EVO hihat in full detail and listen to tip closed and shank closed articulations - to me they sound as if they are switched: I am hearing qualities in the shank sample that would come from a tip hit in reality (higher pitch, more defined and metallic attack) and vice versa. same doubt with /4 articulations but the open hits sound as expected, as do the other hihats.

Am I going crazy here?

p.s. I am using the latest version.

The only Slate product I own is SSD4 Essentials and I only used it a few times.

Ran into this problem yesterday:

Selected a few pre-programmed midi grooves as a base. Edited some stuff in them. the pre-pro grooves had lots of closed HH work in them. I wanted open HH instead. I moved the midi for the closed hat to open hat. Playback still plays closed hats. Weird.....

Essentials has the same cymbals. Make sure you have the latest files, there was a separate cymbal fix update around version 1.097 which is now merged into the current files. Then can you check my problem as well :)
