SSL!!

hehe now that i got your attention!
Did a post earlier with this song, did some minor tweaks on it since then.
Today i got the oppertunity to run the mix through an ssl bus comp.
before the mastring, though you guys would like to hear the difference.
Basicly the same mix, master (ITB), but one has been treated with the
ssl bus comp

Also tried to emulate the ssl compression ITB today, anyone hear the difference? or wich one is wich!

I like the SSL comp version, although I hear a weird sibilance in the very high range, like 10 or 12khz. The guitar tone in the uncomped version sounds undergained and boxy. I kind of want the DIs and MIDI for this track to mix..

only suggestion from me would be turn down the bloody gain! the guitars are too distorted for this kind of music IMO.

there's no midi since it's real drums, can't upload it since it's not released yet! but after it's released i can send it if you want it!
