Standalone Preamp/Converter

Maybe a little poll here.

I have a RME Fireface 800. I currently have a Great River 1NV, Maudio DMP3, and a Behringer Mixer with direct outs (don't hate). I sometimes maybe with i had extra inputs but usually more that 10 isnt needed so im not sure better preamps are the answer. What would you do if you were me?

1. Maudio Profire (Standalone) 8 Preamps + AD Converter
or
2. Focusrite Octopre MKii
or
3. Something different altogether
or
4. Save the money and make music with what Ive got.

I'd save your cash. The Audient ASP with ADAT or Focusrite ISA828 with ADAT would be something I'd grab if I wanted 8 more channels with solid pre's and conversion.

^ I agree, save your money and get something really worth your while. I just upgraded from presonus fp10s and some other stuff to an Apollo duo and an Audient ASP008, and they're both awesome.

I was thinking $500.00 not so much $2000. But maybe the 500.00 spent on a focusrite octopre or maudio profire 2626 isnt a good choice. Will the preamps even be any better than the Behringer Xynyx Direct Outs?
