Starovarius-new singer

Well, being that I have just gotten into this band, this is news to me.
I guess half the band has been fired & the new singer is a female.

I guess this changes the band a bit? Or maybe not? I mean look at what Angela has done for Arch Enemy...

interesting to read about the advance the guy got though-3 million euros(about $3.5million)and then he sacks everyone.sanctuary music were not impressed to say the least.they kind of want thier money back,but i think he told them to stick it.thats one way to fuck a corporation i guess.
only problem is for me,i was hoping to get my band on sanctuarys management.better promise em no line up changes!(it would be a nice dream to be on there)

The whole Strato-soundslike Yngwie-varius soap opera is a shame to the metal community. Timo Tolkki is screwing the band with his own hands. If he wanted to change the singer is alright Kotipelto was nothing spectacular (well the band is nothing spectacular, just "flower" metal). But to fire Jorg Michael is sheer idiocy (one hell of a drummer), even if he now will have Anders Johanssen (brother of Jens the keyboardist) on drums is a difficult task. Anders is already commited with Hammerfall, and he's the reason Hammerfall hasn't toured extensively because of Anders family commitments, now if he wants to be in both bands or just for the record of "Popkiller", who knows? And the Anderson brothers together make me thing of Malmsteen first line-up, I guess Timo still wants to be Yngwie .
And as for Katriina the new singer, she poses like a moron in the pics and judging by the samples I heard from her previous band (pop rock) she's nothing to bow to, it smells also like a bad move.

I hope Strato fans find these changes alright to follow the band, I still don't care. And as for the management Sanctuary already ask 1M Euros back from Tolkki (he refused), so now the lawyers are having a field day.

It does sound like another Yngwie thing..
And thanks for the info on the band. I had read something about Anders. Didn't know if he would still be in Hammerfall or not. Iy sounds like he wants to be married, but still have a piece on the side. You know what I mean?!
Except this guy out weighs even Yngwie by another 100 pounds.
I have heard nothing from the new singer. I guess I will wait for the BW&BK knuckle tracks disc to have something by them on it & then make my decision....
