Ok, I hope you all like the new logo. It still seems to be missing something, I just can't put my finger on it. I do like it a lot, though. I've already worked out all the changes I'll be making to the database, and I've begun reworking the code to optimize things a bit and allow me to more quickly implement the new features I'm working on. What does all of this mean to you? Well, it means a faster Librarius, with better duplicate checking, is on the way, hopefully to be completed in October. I'll also be working on a new skin, hopefully, to allow support for older browsers. I dunno if most of you realized it, but Librarius is skinnable. I change one little file and it looks completely different. To see the effect, check out this skin I started working on for UM a while back (didn't finish it because Mark said he was redesigning anyway)

(use http://www.librariusmetallicus.com/?skin=default to reset it to normal).
The purpose behind it is to allow for what is called co-branding, where basically other metal sites can link into Librarius, but have it continue to look like part of their site. Nobody has taken me up on it yet, so I haven't had the need to make any other skins. If you have a metal site (webzine, message board, etc) and would like to make Librarius a part of it, please email me about it and I'll work with you on it.
Well, that's about all from me. As always, I appreciate the input and I'm glad to see LM is becoming a rather comprehensive resource.
