Dream Theater rules. Some songs do tend to get boring, but I think the majority (90%) are really good and creative. I like that style of Prog Metal/Rock.

The new album took me about 500 fucking hundred listens to even start to enjoy it, now I love it.

If I'm reading this correctly you are saying that Mike Portnoy's drum tracks are really done by machine. Wow, this means you are missing out on quite possibly the most talented drummer alive.
