I was on dmmi side before he mentioned his gearlist and $3k purse,,,

Hard to imagine Presonus crap and $3k purses in the same house.
However even if it is true - it is highly unbalanced decision making,no wonder you can't get your drums sound right.

^ crap response, I have heard great recordings done thru presonus gear, and know a few dudes who have 1 - 2k in software with presonus gear + 1k monitoring and more..... I love that fact that total number of posts gives you authority, shows experience, ability... on forums. Lighten up everyone, I am waiting to see "show us screen shots of your software licence, boxes etc". I am not saying he has pirated software or not, who gives a rats....

I bought SSD some months ago and it is worth the price, by the way I think that it's place is together with "real" miked drums; alone it's a bit too fake for me
oh it uses the Kontakt interface so it's quite familiar and the amount of RAM you use depends by the number of instruments you load.
