Stomp has a perfectly even tone through and through, while vol. 8 is a bit more "sloppy"...I don't mean that in a bad way, though. I love both albums. But I think Stomp is better...

Vol 8 easily. Very diverse and HEAVY. Just listen to Big Fat, Killing Box or Born Again Idiot to know what I'm talking about.

Stomp 442 wasnt really heavy IMO.

I like Stomp 442 better. Vol.8 is the Anthrax record I like the least. By FAR.

Stomp is a better album overall, but Vol. 8 had the best songs. If it weren't for a few of the stinkers on that album, Vol.8 would get it hands down.
