...or atleast that was the first thought that came into mind. Also has some nu metal and black metal riffs.

The guitars are recorded with an electric guitar that I epic failed with (I accidentally changed acoustic guitar strings to it) thru podfarm, so they don't sound as good as they could :Spin: The guitars that come in first are a bit muddy on purpose, so it gives more impact to the next sound. I also aimed for more like a wall of sound kinda deal than "I can hear every single note" type mix.

and plus, you used a roland cube v30? is that the distorsion?

I actually like it, the wall of sound thing fits the music I think, I actually think it needs more wall of soundness, and could use more bass (is there any bass guitar in the mix at all? I feel like I can hear it sometimes and sometimes not, maybe it´s just the extra guitar parts that make it sound bassier)

Nope the distortion was from podfarm.

I have a feeling that if I would add more wall of soundness, it would kill all the internal dynamics of the song, especially because there is no more headroom as it's already driven quite hard against the master bus limiter. But I can try to add maybe synths or something.

There is actually two bass guitar tracks, one clean and one distorted. the bass starts quieter and with only the clean track, then comes in full volume at ~0:22 when the second part comes. If I would take the bass guitar away from the mix, I guess you'd most likely hear the difference.

yeah of course the difference would be noticeable, it´s just that I can´t really hear the definition of the notes in the bass, but there is low end, that´s why I though it might be just bassy guitars. I though it was a cube cause of the name of the file, nothing else.

Well if you want me to "rate" it as this is what this subforum is for, I would add more definition to the bass guitar (make the distorted track a bit louder?), for the rest I like it

It has the common Podfarm problem, it sounds way too dry/cold and doesn't saturate right.
