The gloriously hot Bruce Chickinson has departed from The Iron Maidens, and The Crown have unceremoniously called it quits. Weird.

Great point, absolutely agreed. What more proof do you need than a band breaking up to show this? Plus, each of their six releases can hardly be considered 'metal'. Wuss rock is more like it. Fucking fags. "Deathrace King" sounded so much like Linkin Park it's not even funny.OceanMech said:Proof once and for all that The Crown were non-metal poseurs.
No shit, they should have taken "how to be metal" lessons from Pain of Salvation or Dream Theater or even Devin Townsend, and maybe this wouldn't have happened.Dark One said:Great point, absolutely agreed. Don't you mean "how not to be a metal cliche" lessons? No disrespect towards The Crown, but that press release is quite funny, especially "horns down" and when they refer to their own albums as killer...markgugs said:No shit, they should have taken "how to be metal" lessons from Pain of Salvation or Dream Theater or even Devin Townsend, and maybe this wouldn't have happened.
I don't get this. Are they saying simply because Lindberg did vocals, that the album doesn't sound right? Fuck man, when Lindberg agreed to do vocals, The Crown members were ecstatic with "having one of metal's greatest vocalist" and shit, and I'm sure it didn't bother the band members that having Lindberg on vocals probably didn't hurt sales.markgugs said:Good because we decided to not sign a new deal with Metal Blade, and now that we finally have 'Crowned in Terror' ('Crowned Unholy'!!!) sounding like it was supposed to, the timing is superb.
yeh that's retarded.Dreamlord said:I don't get this. Are they saying simply because Lindberg did vocals, that the album doesn't sound right?
