I have a question that has been bugging me, which SYL song features a sudden pause where devin can be heard saying "Get down there and suck my buddies cock!"? I DLed some mp3's, heard this, and laughed my ass off. I thought it was on City, but I bought City and it isn't. Can't find the Mp3 anymore either.
Also, the song "Strapping Young Lad" is pretty badass, but I haven't heard much else off "Heavy as a heavy thing" what are the best songs here? Worth getting? IMO City was worth getting for "Detox" and "All Hail" but is not nearly as good as Devin's solo cd's.

That song with the suck my buddies cock thing is Oh My Fucking God, but it's not in the City version...so I went to Devin's site and in the discography, there's a demo or something with Oh My Fucking God on, so that's probably it. As for best songs on HaaRHT, Skin Me, Happy Camper and S.Y.L. are my favorites.

City is fucking great. some of the most extreme crazy metal i've heard. i saw the detox video on a show called LOUD once and that song was so intense i just loved it. eventually got the album and fucking love it. i also heard underneath the waves on a CD sampler thing once and it blew my mind. hail and and waves are the best tracs. HaaRHT is great too from what i've heard. WHEN'S HE TOURING CANADA?? HE'S FROM HERE!!

Why are there two versions of "Oh my fucking God"??? That is really fucking stupid. Oh my FUCKING GOD that is stupid. I feel like slapping someone across the face. Why??? What the fuck is "no sleep till bedtime"? Some shitty way to sell more cd's to hardcore Devy fans. I refuse to buy it. I hate bands that do this kind of stupid shit. Amorphis used to do it all the time, they'd have good single on it's own cd and include two or three bombass songs with it so people would buy more of the shit. dispicable. I'm pissed. I'll never be able to listen to "Oh my fucking God" off my City cd again. :sad: At least the mystery is solved, thanks guys.
