  • Strings that are brand new, and not stretched at all.

  • Strings that have been on for a few days, and are stretched out well.

  • Strings that've been on for weeks and are totally stretched out, if not close to dead.

The last option for me. Just replace the 'weeks' with 'months'...:lol: I don't have the money to get new strings too often...
