simple, beutiful, works smoothely, sounds great and comes with a shitload of awesome VSTi's and plug-ins!

-----> workflow is faster hence you can deal a lot more with the CREATIVE process.

Tried it. Crashed way too much using the integrated Melodyne, so I've given it a pass again. Need more stability from a day-to-day DAW.

Didn't take kindly to all my plug-ins either.

Really? I haven't had any issues running Melodyne in it.

haden't have any issues with it yet.
the MIDI editor is just like any other DAW i suppose
i like the way it opens at the bottom of the window instead of hiding the project tough.

oh yeah the plug-ins are the one problem i have with it, it doesn't recognize most of my problems, probably a settings issue haven't really dug into it yet...

Im trying it. Had nothing but crashes from reaper since i bought it. Bad crashes were i have to restart the pc.

i find studio 1 v2 very stable I havent crashed with v1 or v2 yet. I found out that they still haven't put a 32-64 bit bridge for plugins yet which boggles me but ill continue using jbridge. elapidae1 i had the same problems with reaper crashing and switched to studio one and havent looked back.

+1, this is my main problem with it.

Half of my plugins don't seem to work in it

Reaper crashes a surprising amount on my system. Usually just while opening projects though, or opening multiple projects at once. What system are you guys on?

I was running reaper in 32bit, on win7 64 (tried raper 64 also)

I love this daw. Being able to remix and update the master file so fast and easy is awesome.

Absolutely in love with this one. Uber stable, fast. My workflow has sped up dramatically. I used Sonar and loved it for years. Never thought I'd leave, but they lost me to this one. Especially since they stole half the Studio one interface for thier X1 software. Bad move as it made me try out Studio one to see why they did it, and I got hooked! I agree with the OP. I feel like I'm creative faster and get my ideas out with less BS to deal with.

i feel like a mix of this and reaper would be the best DAW ever. been trying it out, and it rips. i prefer the sends and receives in reaper, and routing with superior drummer. i like how in reaper i could record the output of the tracks, but in studio one, i cant even find a way to make the tracks visible outside the mixing area, with the rest of the audio tracks. sucks, but im fine with it for the most part. also, on some tracks, some fx dont come up that i have on other ones. i have the L2 on one track, and couldnt find it on another for the insert. i just dragged it over from the other track, but just saying, would be nice. i think its sick though. i have to get used to it more though

Yep there is a few things from Studio One that i just love. Same thing with Reaper. I wish i could make my own Daw, it would be these two combined.

I really like that it does this, because it separates out the tracking from the mixing. If you want to bounce down the outputs to audio, the mixdown panel will let you select a range of mixer channels to bounce down, you can also re-import them into the project too.

Totally sharing your opinion I'm a Cubase user for over 10 years now and tried out Studio 1 - Version 1. But too much was missing so I stayed with Cubase. That has changed with Version 2. I ported a complete project into Studio1 and everything is working fine.

I love how easy, fast and uncomplicated everything works. Very workflow oriented! Seems I'll stay with Studio One...

Just chimed in to say:

I tried it out. Whoa. Played with it for like an hour, and as the result I am seriously considering switching to S1 from Cubase already! It looks much nicer, and has some really cool features. I just hope that it will prove itself to be stable enough for serious work.
