stuff for wireless net access

Basically, my mom's a bitch about me staying up late on the computer, so I need a way to get online wirelessly from my room or the basement cheaply...we have a wifi network setup. Any suggestions - cell phones, PDAs, whatever works

Solution 1: Slap your mom around and tell her to go back to the kitchen.

Solution 2: Buy a PCI WiFi card to pick up the signal in your room. They're cheap.

There are a few cities that have broadband wireless internet for PDA's. THat gets kind of pricey, but it let's you bring it in the bathroom, bedroom, and even the car/bus/train. You will have to have a seperate interent account just for that cell phone, but it is the only way you can be truly wireless. Verizon is the beswt to go with for that. Even if they don't have the braodband in your area, the regular speed is still decent.
