Spitz:
Every interview I've ever read with the guy he comes off as a total tool and I don't believe he's a guitar god. I do think he played a big role in their sound. I will admit the albums he was on weren't as great as the ones he was on. SOWN being my favorite. So while Joey may be back and so many are hopeful that their will be some return to form I am left unsure. The only hope being is that maybe Rob is doing more writing and happens to be writing thrashy tunes?

Rob:
I don't believe he's a guitar god either. There was a feel good interview on blabber mouth about the tour where they were discussing the best guitarist on the tour and Scott said it may be Rob. Like really? Chris in Megadeth is a friggen awesome player and those two sound tight as hell together. It was odd.

You did not read your Spitz comment before posting it, did you! I think CB wrote most of the leads on SOWN. I don't know what happened in Danny's head between POT & SOWN, but Joey was his best buddy and his sacking may have pissed the wee man off.

He might not be a 'god' he may come across as a 'tool' but his era of Anthrax dominates anything Rob has ever done. Rob looks like a total douche on stage and doesn't fit in. At least Spitz knows how Anthrax should sound, he is the one that was there during the classic years and was part of the best Anthrax albums to date. If Danny wanted to come back I would take him in 2 seconds. Rob can stick to producing or being a studio musician. Being on stage with Anthrax really doesn't fit.

Scott Ian will say anything as long as it benefits him. When he said that, Robb was probably thinking about quitting so Scott had to kiss his ass or some shit. Just like how he had to kiss Johns ass when he wanted him to do those shows in Europe and come in and redo the vocals that Don Nelson did.

What ever though drama drama. They sound good right now so I am just fine with Rob if it means a new Thrash album

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Joey and Dan were the niceest guys on the planet at a meet and greet a few years back! Loved all the old school fan club booklets I brought along. Total nice guys. Scott never even showed
