The entire idea of certain specific philosophies about different types of music is a load of shit. Here are some examples of the sheer stupidity of having a set Ideology about heavy metal:

Rock and roll is crowd-pleaser music. 12 step programs, pop psychology, and most but not all "Christian family values" are also crowd-pleasers.
