I hit a deer once as well, over $4000 in damage to a 1987 Thunderbird Turbocoupe. The insurance fixed it all, thankfully. Anymore with newer vehicles its outrageous. A friend of mine got backed into (she was driving a 2006 Oldsmobile van) and it just bent the hood a little, the fender, broke the grill (in one spot) and the headlight. $5000 in total damages. THe really shitty thing was, the driver was 15, NO D.L. at all, not even a permit, and the owner of the car (which was present and had a suspended license) did not have current insurance. THAT sucked balls, and a court case is pending....
