I have started using this thing called Subsonic recently. It allows you to stream your music from your home (host) computer to other computers on your local network and also over the internet to a webpage, allowing you to access your music library from anyplace that has internet access. It is a bit tricky to get started, and you must leave the host computer on all the time if you want access to the music stored on it (I use an old desktop to run it), but now I have my whole CD collection available for listening. Much better than Pandora!
