Suffocation v. Decapitated

They've toured together and they've been frequently compared, so I'd be curious to know what people think of these two bands, and how people feel that they stack up.

Fair or not, I prefer Suffocation.

The Negation is cleaner sounding than Nihility or Winds, but Winds is the best IMO. And I'm not just saying that to be rebellious (ooo, their older stuff was better! I'm so opinionated!) Any of those three would be a fine starting point.

Just don't start with Organic Halluishitwhatever

Sure Covan isn't as good a vocalist as Sauron was but he's still damn good. And Organic Hallusinosis is a fucking awesome album. Post Organic is one of my favorite songs, I like it better than anything on The Negation.

But Nihility is still my favorite by them.
