Suggest me Music!

I have a music collection of a measly 1000-ish songs, most of which are not metal. I would like to expand the amount of metal I have. It is, after all, the best type of music. What are some good bands, preferrably not death metal. My favorites other than Nevermore are Into Eternity, Angel Dust, and Opeth. Now, suggest away! ...please?

its kinda interesting that you mention opeth and into eternity which are both death metal bands to some extent. do you already have enough death metal and don't want more? or do you not want brutal death metal bands?
