Suggest me some kick drum mic's for versatility

It's going to have to be tomorrow, I ended up talking with Sal quite a while today (it's actually his/Staind's Beta 52) as is normal when I swing by his place and ended up behind on a house project that I just got done with here at 10pm so no go on the kick till around noon-1pm tomorrow (or 6pm your time).

Ok, so since my drum is stupid small it was hard to get the beater positions even remotely the same so it's not really a good comparison. Although they are all within 3" of the beater and at various off axis angles. The port positions were a lot easier to get more consistently similar.

Also: Beta 52 needed more gain that both mics
Also: D6 needed more gain than the D112

Right o here they is:

D112 port.mp3

Pics of how they was (sorry for the darkness, my iphone wasn't liking the lack of light):

Here's another example of the D6 on a kick resonant head with no hole for a 'non-metal' sound. This is a Gretsch Mini Mod kit, 20x20 kick.
There is no internal dampening in this kick so I used a blanket and the bottoms of mic stands to dampen the head. Also, it's a pretty small kick.

eq, comp etc on drums
