Suggestions for a bigger sound

Hello, this is my first post here. First off, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this place, I've learned a lot of stuff reading this board.

Now, here's what I'm bothering you all with:

I'd like to get more separation between the three harmony guitars.
I'm using an Amplitube Modern Hi-Gain with a small dose of rack delay.

What do you suggest for more clarity and distinction?

I think you need less gain for the rhythm guitars and to raise them a few dbs. I also think that harmony guitars are too blended.
If you pan them properly (e.g. 15-25 LR) there will be more separation. How did you pan them? Did you use impulses with amplitube?

Thanks for the reply, thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, I'm using Guitar Hack's Original Center impulse.

I've got 3 harmony lines going on. I have 2 lines in unison panned L-R, and a harmony line played a 4th higher panned center. I used the same tone for all 3 lines, perhaps that was a mistake? would using three different amps, or changing the tone measurably between the 3 lines make a difference in clarity?

However, I've re-recorded just two harmony lines, panned hard left and right and it sounds clearer.
