Suggestions for best S/PDIF/Coaxial cable

Just go to your local Video/Hifi Store and get the most rugged looking Composite video/spdiff cable they are the same spec, 75ohm coax
Gold connectors etc dont mean shit.
Anything the coasts more than £20/$40 is a rip off.

What they said dude, it'll either work or it won't...no silver-coated directional snake oil here! Just get the cheapest 75 Ohm rca cable you can get, it'll work fine.

(usually labelled video cable or cable tv here at electronics stores...I would almost bet if it's labelled spdif it'll cost more!)

Being digital, audio quality wise, what you need to listen out for is pops/clicks/squelches lke you get from a dab radio or digital TV if its not got a very good signal, this means it doesnt have a good digital clock sync, if you dont hear anything like that (most ofen just the odd pop) then your cable is good enough.
Hell, several times ive even used one side of a normal analogue hifi stereo RCA cable when i couldnt be bothered to dig out an spdiff cable and its worked fine,
