So, here goes. Apologies for the programmed drums, this is just a quick & dirty test. Not a bad amp at all, tho... certainly the right sound for "stoner rock."

LMAO!!! I'm more into Kyuss, Atomic Bitchwax, and Mammoth Volume for stoner stuff as opposed to drone stuff like SunnO))).


As for settings, it's just the A channel with the gain at about 8 & a Maxon. Mesa cab, single 57, Api 512c. EQ was just hi & low rolloffs, plus a little multiband in the mud zone.

Guitar was my acrylic BC rich, using an EMG81 in the neck position. Killer tone from this guitar, but I'd never want to do a gig with it. ....just too damn heavy.

I actually wound up writing a song around the riff & tracked drums for it yesterday. Hopefully I'll have something finished in a few days.
