Recently got the VCC/VTM from Slate. Found some time off, so did a super quick test.
Deets : Guitars are a Gibson Les Paul(lulz, it was lying at the studio) into the Axe II, Drums are a 20 minute attempt at teh Slipknot drum sound so please excuse.
Thoughts : Great stuff! The harmonic excitation is really pleasing. Plus it gives that analogy character for sure and some tasty warmth. I also found that I need to Eq a little less than usual.
This is a super quick test, so mix may have some stickies. Will do a proper mix soon!
