I would take that bet if I was not 100% sure this album blows. I attribute this knowledge to my Knowing-Albums-That-Suck-Without-Hearing-Them Detector.

Unfortunately, this detector failed me with Agalloch's The Grey EP.

This is the best Sunn 0))) album yet. Each of their albums has moved more into the ambient in one way or another, and this is just another example. It is their darkest album, and that was obviously their intent. NAD will love this. It's like the ambient parts of Blut Aus Nord . . . Sunnified.

Now . . . who wants the promo. I don't have time to review it. I'll probably give it to Circus Rimbone, if he has time for it. If not . . . give me a price you're willing to pay for this CD I recieved for free.

i choked it a few hours ago, but i think i have to do it again now. very much sold, and i'm not going to listen to any samples, i'll just buy it when it comes out.

I don't really agree with him, but if you still want to check them out after reading that, go with Black1... their other ablums are nothing like this.
