Sunn O)))

I'm going to come out and say that I've never heard any of Sunn O)))'s material, and I'm intrigued to. What album should I start with?

It really depends, like many bands they changed their sound quite dramatically, in Sunn O's case after White1

I personally like Black One the best because of it's atmospheric merits..also it's kind of a mix of old/new Sunn O

I'm also farily new to Sunn O))); I started getting into them late last year but I really dig them now. "Monoliths & Dimensions" was the first one I got, and then "Black One" and "Flight of the Behemoth."

^Butthurt that he ended up buying Sunn O))) albums/taking up hard drive space, when he could have just bought a fridge and make the same sounds


Plus you can store food in it.

I lol'd when he first used it in the Drone rec. thread, but now it's stale.

Theres better drone metal bands out there. But Sunn O))) are fairly decent compared to the better bands out there.
