Red Line Tap - April 6th 9 PM.

SUPERCHRIST / SPEEDWOLF / LURKING CORPSES / NEKROFILTH

See Superchrist before they leave for tour. Enjoy the sounds of Speedwolf and the antics of the Lurking Corpses. Never heard of Nekrofilth.

Lurking Corpses are a must see. Great live band. Lots of fun. Superchrist should be playing new material from thier new album "Holy Shit".

Nekrofilth is cool. I've heard their split with Nunslaughter and their half is better. Speedwolf is awesome.

"Holy Shit" is a fucking great title for an album, haha!

This show was crazy last night. really good turnout...close to a sell out for the Red Line Tap.

Nekrofilth played first...they started late because they got lost after parking thier van. Nothing great but people seemed to really like them. A bunch of people up front were really into them and everyone was having a blast and stuff.

Speedwolf played next. They seem to be the hot band currently. Pretty good live. Nothing that made me want to go out and buy anything. Standard dirty thrash with a punk vibe. Lots of people were there for them. It was hard to even get close to getting up front. had to watch them at the back. After thier set the whole place was chanting for more. it was crazy to see a band playing second get that type of response but this is the type of metal that people love who go to Red Line Tap shows.

Lurking Corpses came on next. This is a band best seen in a small packed place. I dont think thier gimmick would come across good on a big stage. They wear cloaks and scary mask. They sound like the Misfits and also have some heavy death metalish stuff as well. This band is a must see if you have the chance. Everyone in the place was going haywire during thier set. People singing along and going crazy. The best is the singer talks like the Crypt Keeper from the Tales from the Crypt tv show from years ago.

Superchrist played last. This was a set that was going to be filled with new songs and some they havent played much. The new songs sounded great and people still got into it. they played a bunch of favorites. The crowd started to tire out near the end though. One of the guys who is in High Spirits came up and sang The Trooper by Iron Maiden and the place went crazy. It was one of the better times seeing them as well.

The show was great. Pat (modernwizardry) came out. He was getting bounced around during the show. It seemed like 4 to 6 guys were getting the place going. It was annoying but it never got to the point where a fight was going to break out. Tables almost got knocked over. Lots of crowd surfing and stuff too but in a joking matter. Lots of people kept picking up thier freinds who were not expecting it and stuff.

There was lots of talk of the Ragnarokkr Fest. People are very excited by this.
