Superior Drummer

Starting to see how helpful people are round here, obviously you lot be doing this for too long!

Take another look at your message. You're saying a product that's being used by hundreds of people around here, is crap. You never said what specifically sounds crap about it, you just said it sounds crap. A stupid question gets a stupid answer.

Sorry it isn't the answer you want but I have to agree, it's you. If the expectation is that they are going to slide right into your mix and be perfect w/o any effort I think you are misunderstanding the goal of the product.

The drums themselves don't sound like crap but the presets aren't that great. With proper processing they can sound as good as anything else.

We are talking about the NY kit here right, my question isn't trying to be dumb its just that I cannot get it to sound half decent, specially the kick lacks any low end dont you think?

It takes a skill engineer to make them sound great. But even the preset sounds good. The toms are probably the best sounding samples available , not to mention the Ambience microphones.

The snares (especially NirZ) are some of the best I've ever heard in my life tbh, you just need to adjust the envelope control and get some slow-attack compression on there to kill the ring, pop-city

I like the snares a lot too, but I've recently been stacking them with a sample or two. I replace the kicks.

The toms are great too. Mostly I just find myself needing more or better cymbals, but I'm thinking of buying MF to fix that. And SSD EX helps for now.
