It was recorded and in the can long before the new Lacuna Coil but oh well. And several people have covered this but this one is just so good and nice depressing.

That was really good. Just yet another reason that makes me wanna hear this album even more.

Glad to hear that you like it, the album is great. Think a lot of prog fans will dig this if they take the moment to look into it.
There was a Bad Religion cover done in these sessions as well. And there was attempts to put together an October Project cover that did not fully come together, I hope that it might in the future. Still this REM is the best version I have heard of it; I just remember first hearing the opening chords and "oh that us going to be really depressing and doomy".

I LOVE October Project!!! What song??

Damnit I cannot remember what Bad Religion song, racking my brain to remember HAHA.
There was a couple of October Project songs tossed around. I brought it to Chris' attention and he did not previously know them. I thought it would be a really cool idea in many ways. He settled with 'Bury My Lovely' and after putting it down about five times he called me up and said "this song is too beautiful I just don't think I can do it justice". There was even thoughts of getting OP singer on it (I believe that came up in the talks with her)I hope we can re-visit it sometime though, I have no doubt that if anyone can pull it off The Reticent can.
I have toss out another one to him that might show up in the future and would be a duet with one of my favorite female singers .Michelle Loose (second only to Kate Bush); I have talked to her about it in the past and hopefully one day it will come together.
The Reticent (full band) also do an Opeth song in live sets but not sure which, I have never seen it.
