svartsot: the best clicky-kick in the world? help me choose!

hey lads....
just putting the final finishes to the svartsot kickdrum....

I've come up with 4 Versions that I really like.......
I want you to pick the one you like best, the one that will be chosen by you guys will be my reward for you.....
I'll upload multiple samples in high res wav of that one (and only of that one! )

but I don't wanna give that one away, cause I don't want it to be used on anything but the svartsot

I like kick 2 the best. It would be easier to choose if you could post clips with it in a mix.

Kick 1, apart from the tail, sounds the most meaty, like a Vinnie Paul type kick, but with a tad more body. I did like kick 3 as well, but was missing a bit of wetness, for a better word to describe it. would like to hear them in a mix situation ..........

yeah, but in the end it's important which one YOU want, so it'd be best if you guys try them in one of your mixes....
I'll perhaps not even pick the one you guys chose, cause you're right, it's of course a matter of how it sits in the mix .

I'll probably pick kick5...but that one's not in the poll

everyone of them would be good in a certain mix/type of music
i cant decide between kick 1 and kick 4

kick 5 seems like a blend of kick 4 and kick 2 (sounds awesome)

kinda....kick4 is the main base of that...and then a blend of some of the other 3 and a bit more/different EQ etc.

on the final record it'll be blended in 50/50 with the mic-track

Yeah, had a feeling. It had some characteristics of all of them. Well done though, the combination sounds better than any of them alone.

They all sound great! I had a hard time deciding between 1 and 4, but in the end I think I dig 1 a bit more, so that's what got my vote

They are all very nice indeed....and id like to take them all home with me....but id say kick3.

4's good but its not as clear and punchy as 3 imo. Does 1 have some brain kick in it and 3 some D4 fusion?
