I just realized that Dan Swanö is Lefty, but the strange thing here is the way he plays guitar, the strings are in the opossite way, i mean Sixth string are on the first possition and the first string on the last.

Check it out

Yeah, I've seen that done before. In Roger Water's live DVD "in the flesh" there's a guitarist (also lefty) who plays the whole gig that way.
I'm also a lefty but it's a mystery to me how or why someone would play this way. The good thing about this, I guess, is that you'll be able to play right handed guitars...

our Bass player started playing the Bass when we formed our band, he's a lefty and played guitar a bit before that (normal lefthand guitar, strings setup normal).
He wasn't able to buy a bass so I gave him mine, and he just used it that way with the strings upside down for about 1 year and played a show that way, then he switched, but he's able to play both ways and he's also able to play very acceptable if he plays with the right, instead of his left hand.

My guitar teacher through most of my college years was a lefty and could SHRED with the strings installed in either direction. Like it was nothing. Seriously...

The reason for the ability of some lefties playing right handed guitars well is probably the simple fact that they more often get in contact with right handed guitars (playing left/right with equal quality of course is crazy).
btw, you can do funny experiments in "ignoring" the left-/right handedness and transfer the better things that evolve, to your side.
Real sinistral idea :zombie:

I found it really weird but interesting as well, just yesterday tried to play backwards and is too difficult to me
Keregioz: i forgot that, in the Roger Waters Dvd, that guys used it that way too.

I'm a lefty and I can't even grasp how that works at the moment, nor how it would be comfortable, but, I've played right handed since I've been playing. None the less, he's always made awesome music.

Also, "Eaten" live is killer

That is odd. Bloodbath = teh win.

I'm left handed (writing), but I play guitar, basketball, hockey, baseball and football right-handed. Until my sophomore year in high school I was essentially ambidextrous when it came to writing. I can't do it anymore because I just kept using my left hand more over the years. However, on drums I can play left or right handed, sometimes left only for certain beats. Whenever I buy my own drumset I'm going to need an extra set of hats, lol.

Yeah, I know a guy like that. He's an engineer at one of the studios around here, and he can just pick up anything and play it - left or right handed, with the strings either way.

I'm a lefty, and I started playing bass left-handed with the strings upside down (though I play guitar right-handed the right way up) just because my left hand was quicker at strumming. Once I switched to right-handed with the strings the right way up I lost the knack pretty quickly though.
