Recently I bought LTD MH-400 with active EMG85 on the neck and EMG81 on the bridge so today I decided to swap the positions of the pickups.I put 81 on the neck and 85 on the bridge.Is it ok or should I back to their old positions?

It should be ok, as long as you have wired them correctly and you like the way they sound, then keep them like that.
They have connectors so you just disconnect one pickup and connect the other.Something similar to this http://www.stevesmusiccenter.com/EMG-SVConnector.jpg So everything done in 5 min

you tell us bud, technically there should be problem with the wiring (most emgs now you can just unscrew them and disconnect them from the rest of the wiring as they'll be on quick-connect)
sound wise you'll have to see for yourself...

I did pretty much the same thing,
85 in the bridge and 81 in the neck.
sounds damn good to me, the 81 is surprisingly nice in the neck considering that i hated it in the bridge position.
the 85 is nice and chunky too with a very pleasing roar.

Personally I much prefer 85 in the bridge compared to the 81 (I'm using a LTD Viper 400)
So if you like it better then it's all good!

So it wont be any problems with the wiring since I just disconnected the pickups and simply swapped their positions?
