Yes, I saw them in Terrorizer.

Go to that www.switchblade2006.com Ecard. It is a HUGE song from their new one I think. I've been listening to the same song for like 12 days now. It's LONG.

This band is KILLERZZRLLIHNGLLA!!!!!!!

They creep along like Khanate, but they get into a groove every now and then. KILLERZZRLLIHNGLLA!!!!!!!

Listening to the song now. I know one of the tracks on the new one is 20 minutes and the other one is 16 or so, and there's an interlude between them that's 7 minutes I think?

PS. the older stuff (samples on site) sounds more like Isis or something

Why are Erik and I the only cool people around here?

Would this thread have been more popular if Erik started it? Do people think Switchblade has anything to do with "core"?

These are the things I think about . . . plus how much better my taste in music is than all of yous.

Despite the horrible name I was interested when I saw "Watain" but then saw no direct mp3 links and left.

Terrorizer review:

Bleak, Fucking bleak, the fourth album from Sweden's Switchblade is perhaps the perfect album for winter 2006, which is shaping up to be one of the most enervating and dispiriting for some time. And while SWITCHBLADE boast a fraction more groove than fellow slug-worriers Khanate, this does not alleviate the atmosphere of sheer crushing misery exuded by their music. Like Khanate's recent 'Capture and Release', SWITCHBLADE is comprised of two extended dirges wich go out of their way to pound the listener into a defenseless, weeping wreck. The first track is a fairly straightforward slog into the abyss whereas the second is somewhat reminiscent of Black Sabbath's 'FX' until Logh singer Mattias Friberg enters with a plaintive and highly melodic lament that works brilliantly against the band's progressively processional droning. The song culminate with an insistent, circling riff that only seems up-tempo because the rest of the album is so fucking slow. Ill-tempered and unforgiving, this is cold metal for diehard depressives. 8.5/10 Joe Stannard

The only sample I have at present time is the ecard that can be found when you click on the link in my first post. It's a flash thing, so I don't know how to link that mp3.

When I get the CD, I'll post samples. Should be any day now.
