i'll be honest, so did i. never been a big floyd fan actually, i think i'm in a pretty severe minority here.

While not my favorite Floyd album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is quite simply one of the most important, if not amazing, albums of all time. Any sort of music that is even slightly abnormal owes a wealth to that one, RIP Syd.
