SYL At Ozzfest...Devin No Longer 'Underground?'

Of course, along with In Flames, making it into the metal mainstream is pretty impressive and I'm happy for both bands. But is Devin no longer a part of the underground community?

I've always said before that I believe Devin's solo albums are superior to Strapping Young Lad, but they sadly will never be a mainstream act. Ironic that some albums like OCEAN MACHINE and ACCELERATED EVOLUTION are screaming for radio play.

For The Devin Townsend Band alone, they should have a forum, and unofficially, they do. Good job, UltimateMetal!

And thanks to Mr. Townsend for some brilliant music. The new album rules...

I don't think it makes them no longer underground. Maybe it makes fans "aware" of DTB/SYL but I think both bands are too extreme in their own genres to ever become mainstream.
