Symphony X 2013 shows

Just saw the two latest setlists, and I was positively surprised: they actually play 5 pre-PL songs per show now! S&M and Evolution haven't been played since Iconoclast was released. They're not the songs most of us were hoping for, I bet, but it's another step in the 'right' direction.

I'm keeping an eye open anyway for the other 2013 shows.

It looks like the same setlist before Iconoclast, but with Iconoclast songs

besides iconoclast and evolution, there aren't any songs on that list I'd be particularly interested in watching.
then again they never tour sweden so IDC.

I agree with it being a step in the right direction (I posted these in the Favourite Band thread), though I think Children of a Faceless God and Eve of Seduction should both be cut and replaced with another 2 songs, one from V (maybe something like Fallen, since that hasn't been played in forever) and the other from TIO (probably Church of the Machine, but I'd love to see some more underrated cuts like In the Dragons Den which would go great live). Then the set would be more like:

Iconoclast: 4
Paradise Lost: 2
Odyssey: 1
V: 2
Twilight: 2
Divine Wings: 2

Now that would be a much more balanced set, don't you think?

Being a festival, I guess I can understand the reasoning behind the set being so cut down in comparison. Still think they should have sacrificed Eve for something else at the very least.

Set the World on Fire as a closer seems odd. I feel like switching it with Iconoclast would make more sense.
