NO F'ING WAY!!

Finally, they're playing in a real venue in Detroit. I may just have to go. Its a bigger place though, so I probably won't be able to continue my dumb tradition of shaking Russell's hand every time I see them. I'm 3 for 3 so far. :D

what about us losers who have school and can only get to Glenside PA but its on a wednesday! ... GAH! o well, theres always next tour ... better be :bah:

Awesome! Good for them. It's good to see this happening. It could be good for both bands.

Queensryche is out of touch with the current (non pop) metal scene. SX is the "in" underground thing and rising in popularity who can introduce the younger fans with Ryche.

And touring with Ryche will be good for SX to reach more people who don't usually step outside the bounds of mainstream music, and just reach a larger audience in general.

They are quite different stylistically though, so it will be interesting to see each side's reaction. At any rate, I like both and think this is awesome!

OMG!!!!

This is some of the most exctiting news I have heard in awhile..:OMG:

I just hope I can get to A FEW!!! hehe! I'll be checking the calender 2nite.:err: :erk: :headbang:

Look like to me that Symphony X must be opening...

I searched for Symphony X on Ticketmaster... no restults. And then for Queensyrche, I got this: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/735918

So, I'm assuming this means they will be opening and that's why they dont have thir own section in ticketmaster.

We've been to the Keswick Theater and the sound there is superb, although I'd prefer to see SymX in a club without seats. Just have to get off work and I'm sure we'll be there. I like Queensyrche. In my opinion, this is a great call for a pair-up.

I was just thinking last night that they hadn't announced an opener for those QR dates. I was going to pass on them this time, but not now!!!

I would prefer to go to the Beacon, but can't because of a prior commitment. I'll be going to the NJ show.

This is awesome news. I toyed with the idea of going to see Queensryche at the Beacon, but probably wasn't going to go. Ironically the other day I searched and searched the web to see who is the opening act and since I couldn't find any info I was pretty much going to blow off this show. BUT NOW! The mighty Symphony X is the SOLE reason I am going. I AM PUMPED!!!! They will easily blow Queensryche off the stage (at least for me). This is a great opportunity for SX to get well deserved exposure to an audience that should take to them.

Congrats to SX for this gig. CAN'T WAIT FOR APR.24TH!!!!
